In TV News, there is a phrase that videographers cringe at: "swing by and spray." This phrase connotes that the crew will 'swing by' a location and 'quickly' shoot an event or occurrence. Ironically, the location is usually miles away from where they are! Here is a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the hustle and bustle of a tv news assignment desk.
